Medal of Valor recipient Patrick Burke served four tours in the Middle East, the last of which was last year in the Army's 364th Expeditionary Sustainment Command. But his most dangerous encounter came on the streets of his home town. It was April 19, 2011 when he had rolling gun battle on his hands, not far from the Las Vegas Strip. Without hesitation, Officer Patrick Burke exposed himself to gunfire as he tried to protect his partner and the public.
